Computer processors or better known as microprocessors are at the center of the computing universe. Initially, when only engineers used to interact with computers, most of the interaction happened in the form of text commands issued from a keyboard on punch cards. Over time as technology became capable, we used graphical interaction more and more.

This led to intense graphical processing, to solve this problem additional processors were designed. These processors were called graphical processors and played an essential role in the advancement of user interaction.

Also known as GPU, they were originally designed to accelerate the rendering (a technical word for painting or drawing on the screen). As technology evolved, programmers and developers found creative ways of using visual effects and subtle ways of using the lighting and shadowing to make captivating pictures and videos.
